Coach/Instructor Instructor License Grade A In addition to my active motorsport career, I also work as an instructor and private coach I personally can't (unfortunately) outwit the driving physics either - constantly moving a car at the limit requires a lot of tact and a lot of training. With that Car Control, which I was able to acquire early on, I have certainly already spared one or the other racing car from unwanted cold deformations. I would like to give you exactly the same thing - safety and the further development of your driving skills on the road and racetrack. have a look below and Feel free to contact me via the contact form below! - My Journey | Simon Birch Racing
My Journey 2024 - GT4 and GT2 I had prepared for this moment for months. Everything was set – a full season in the GT World Challenge Endurance and Sprint series, driving for GMB Motorsport with Aston Martin. I was ready. The long winter of preparation was over, the work was done, and we were about to dive into the pre-season tests. But then, just one week before we were supposed to hit the track, I received a message that changed everything. The motorsport company was closing due to severe financial difficulties. Suddenly, I was left with nothing, just weeks before the season was due to begin. It was a difficult time, but somehow, in the middle of it all, luck was on my side. I was fortunate because a man who believed in me – who saw the potential in me – refused to let my talent go to waste. Thomas, my teammate from 2023, called me just days after that devastating news. "Would you come to race with me?" he asked. It was the best thing that could have possibly happened to me and my career, a thing I will never forget. That season turned out to be one of the most defining of my life. It was a season filled with the most driving, the most knowledge gained, and the best results I’ve achieved so far. It was incredible. I had countless opportunities to try new things, gaining experience in new cars such as the GT2 KTM and GT4 Porsche. I completed over 30 race starts, both in sprint and endurance formats. And then came my first 24-hour race in Barcelona – a moment I will never forget. Starting from pole position in class, we finished P2 in class. The success didn’t stop there. In both GT2 and GT4, I delivered strong performances with front-row starts, podium finishes, victories and also finishing P3 in the GT2 Championship was a big achievement. But it wasn’t just about the results – it was about everything that was new. The cars. The tracks. The team. It was a perfect match between me and the guys at Razoon - more than racing. With them, I knew I could be competitive every weekend. As the season came to a close end, we began looking ahead to 2025. After a successful year, I was given an incredible opportunity, to join a full GT3 season in GT Masters 2025. And not just any car – a Porsche 911 GT3 R, a brilliant car. This next step feels like the perfect match, and I’m ready to take on the challenge. The journey is just beginning, and I can’t wait to see where it takes me. 2021-2022 First years in Car Racing In 2021 I decided and thankfully got the opportunity to take the next step already in an early age: I started in a Peugeot 208 in a class called 1600 challenge - national series. A very good starting phase for me to take, to get known with car racing. a good decision because I got to learn the things from the bottom and not skip the basics of racing. I have been super lucky that I have gotten the opportunity to be surrounded by people who understood to learn me basics and technical knowledge of cars at a young age. I have always from my first years in racing helped service cars after races and prepare them before which have given me knowledge how cars works in many ways. That have helped me very much and for sure will in the future. Funny fact: I already started driving in the car when I was 13 just doing race starts from 1 to 3 gear in my mechanics driveway. which could be seen after hundred's of starts ;) In 2022 I got the amazing opportunity to drive for the biggest team in Denmark. a fantastic year where I drove a derated TCR in a class for standard/touring cars. I absolute won everything and blew many expectations. won championship and won the Talent of the year in Asphalt car racing in Denmark. Therefore I got the amazing opportunity to test the teams GT3 in the end of the year which went so good I got the opportunity to drive a full season the year after an absolute crazy felling to drive in such a car so early in my career. 2023 First International year in cars - GT3 I got the amazing occasion to try Formula 4 in the Spanish F4 series which went really good, so now I stood and had to choose which path/way I would go if it should be directly into GT or Formula. After consideration I chose to go the GT way because of the bright road I had in front of me with the opportunity. In 2023 I got the amazing opportunity to drive in a gt3 in Le Mans Cup. for sure a big milestone to get to that point in my career and I am super thankful for all the people who stood behind it. a fantastic but also very difficult year, I've learned many things and showed many good things. we got many good result sadly did it only end with a best result as a P4. we were very close once in Spa where we won the race, came first over the finish line, sadly a post race penalty dropped us off the podium position. besides the GT3 season I also drove a Mitjet 3,5 liter V6 in Denmark called Super GT a fantastic year with Pole Position and Victories, ending the season in P4 in PRO. 2016-2020 Karting In 2016 I started my journey in karting. I came into racing/karting because of my dad taking me to the local karting track as a small boy sitting in a Gokart for the first time I think is one of the best feelings ever. I started to drive at my local track in Ikast. I started at local competitions and gradually ranked my way up to national and international events. The highlight was 2019 where I managed to win the Danish and Nordic championship and finish fourth in the Rotax International Trophy - Le Mans in Mini Max and qualify myself for Rotax Grand Finals (World Championship)
